New Pricing Scheme

Today is a big day for the Nivo Slider. We are officially phasing out the Pro package and are replacing it with the new WordPress Developer package. After listening to our customers (you guys) and much deliberation we have decided to remove the recurring subscription and make the Developer package a one off payment.

So you now have two options if you want to purchase the Nivo Slider WordPress plugin:

  • You can get the single license version, which allows you to use the plugin on one production site. This also includes support but does not allow you to use the plugin on premium themes.
  • Or you can get the developer package, which allows you to use the plugin on as many production sites as you wish (personal and commercial). It also comes with support but with the developer package you are allowed to package the plugin for use in your premium themes.

We hope this new pricing scheme makes sense for the majority of people who use the plugin. Pro customers can still login and get the latest version of the plugin, but we are advising them to cancel their subscription and upgrade to the Developer package.

So what are you waiting for. Get the Developer package now and let us know what you think!

  1. Sir,

I am interested in purchasing your nivo plugin, developer version, but have a few questions before I do this….

I am a website designer and need to know if the $99 is a one time only payment, not an annual charge, and can I use your plugin on unlimited wordpress sites?

Also, do you have a shortcode so I can use the plugin in pages, not only in the wordpress header?

I really like your plugin so please advise,

    Fred

    Sir,

Can i use the free version on premium themes like integrating it in my themes for themeforest?

Is it legal if I modify the code and integrate it in the theme option panel for wordpress?

and what is the benefits of having the developer package?

Hi John. Yes you can use the free jQuery plugin wherever you want and make any changes you want. You need the developer package if you want to use the WordPress plugin in premium themes.

    Thank you.

  5. I’m interested in purchasing developer version, but I will first try regular licence. I intend to use plugin in premium themes, but I would like to test single licence version first and if I’ll be satisified with plugin features I will buy developer version. Please tell me if I buy single site version can I later make upgrade to developer version and only pay the difference, not the full price?
